Austin pickup is @ Jack & Adam’s from 11a.m. – 7p.m. 1210 Barton Springs Rd. 78704 Your packet will only be in Austin if you selected that when registering!
New Braunfels pickup is @ U Run from 11a.m. – 8p.m. 1528 E. Common St. 78130
Mailer packets will be sent out the week of 10/17/11.
KIDS FUN RUN – Check in open & REQUIRED from 9:00-9:50 Race Day. Kids receive bracelet & shirt before running.
3 lots for runners:
1) Pre-paid & VIPs onsite @ Rockin’ R. You must have mirror hanger for this. This option is SOLD OUT.
2) $10 race day parking – across street from Rockin’ R @ Gruene River Co; limited spaces. You can purchase @ packet pickup (recommended) or on race day morning.
3) FREE parking lot is a 10 min walk south from Rockin’ R. See Rockin’ R map.
Plan to arrive 1 hr early to drop packet, use restroom, warm up, etc.
FREE parking lot should be used south of Rockin’ R. Can also gather @ I Cento (Mile 2, 11, 24) or River Road Ice House (Mile 3, 10, 23) to cheer on runners.
Use your CLEAR packet from packet pickup to stash your keys, jacket, camera, etc. You will check this in prior to 7am start & retrieve with your BIB upon finishing race.
Your timing device is on the back of your bib. DO NOT REMOVE or you will not have a timed race!
Keys, phone, light jacket or sweatshirt (check the weather!), clear packet to check in belongings, keys, cash).
Plenty @ Rockin R & along the race course. Check Race map for locations.
Drink aid will be provided at every water station. GU will be provided for at the 6.5 &
13.1 mile mark. Medical tents will be @ the Start/Finish Line, 6.5mi mark; and 13.1mi mark.
PLEASE NOTE: Traffic will be LIMITED, but it is imperative that you stay aware of your surroundings and any vehicles, driveways, etc. When WALKING, please do not spread out across the road. Stay to the right @ all times and only 2 abreast. Do NOT run in the center of the road.
